THE ELEMENTARY ACADEMIC CURRICULUM FOCUSES ON

Development of math, reading and comprehension skills, and writing, concentrating on critical thinking and collaborative work along with the use of technology across the curriculum and growth in the Catholic Faith.

CO-CURRICULARS

ESMV offers the following co-curricular activities for this area

Art

Focuses on developing the students’ artistic skills through a variety of techniques including drawing, painting, and the use of mixed media to nurture the students’ creativity.

Music

Includes liturgical choir, piano, guitar, drums, and violin lessons, led by experienced musical educators who enhance the students’ musical skill giving them the opportunity to perform during each week’s Eucharist and regional and national competitions.

Sports

Team sports are an integral part of our school, so our program focuses on promoting teamwork and self-discipline. Students can enroll in any of the following: basketball, volleyball, football, and track and field. All categories are available for boys and girls.

Dance Club

Students enjoy this fun activity that helps with their coordination and confidence while socializing with others, preparing for a final performance for the parents at the end of each cycle.

Speech

Students develop their writing, critical thinking skills while improving their confidence in public speaking opportunities throughout the school year. This program is offered in English and Spanish.

Arts and Crafts

Students develop fine motor skills in a collaborative environment while working on projects that involve different practices during each co-curricular cycle, showcasing their work for parents and students.
